Walkers Terracotta Clay - 12.5kg

This terracotta-coloured clay has a plastic body which makes modelling easy. A good basic Terra Cotta Clay - suits all earthenware and Midfire 1200 glazes.

Fired colour varies from red terra cotta to deep red brown with some fine natural grog. Over 1200 will become browner.

• Its coarse texture gives it ‘tooth’ for hand building (especially larger works) and makes it less prone to cracking when left to air dry.
• Firing range: 1060-1200°C, and Fired colour (oxidation): Straw to deep red brown at 1200
• Suits all earthenware glazes.
• If left to air dry, the work can be left natural, or sealed or painted.
• Firing range: 1060-1200°C
